A Boy And His Dog (1975)

How was the 1975 movie “A Boy and HIs Dog” received by critics and the public?

Pretty lack luster. It only got famous when Don Johnson hit it big with Miami Vice.

Having seen the movie, I can see why it never got nominated for an Oscar. The story was lame, the sets and costuming were marginally better than the acting. To be honest, I am surprised it was done as late as 1975; it looked like it was made in the late 60’s.
