A Family Thing (1996)

Days of our Lives family tree?

I started watching Days in 1996 and watched it every now and then over the years….I started up about a year ago watching it regularly, but Im still confused on the relationships. The other day, Max called Shawn (the one who died) his pop. Then I heard Stephanie call Caroline grandma? So Max and Bo are brothers? Max is Sean Jr’s uncle? Is Phillip Kate and Victors son? And where did Chloe come from and who is Brady? Where did Will go? Sorry, just confused on the whole we are all related but somehow not sleeping with our cousin thing :)
And who is Chelsea? I know shes Kates grand daughter buthow?

Shawn and Caroline raised Frankie and Max. They’re adopted (but are blood brothers to each other).

Yes, it’s creepy. If your sister (Kayla) is your girlfriend’s (Stephanie’s) mother, maybe you should look outside the gene pool for a date, even if you are adopted.

Philip is Kate and Victor’s son, but the pregnancy was carried by Vivian (Alamain, John’s aunt).

Chloe is nurse Nancy and doctor Craig’s daughter…but at first she was just supposed to be Nancy’s long lost daughter, then it was found out (ahem, re-written) that Craig was the father after all from a fling when they were teenagers. She came onto the scene as a creepy, withdrawn young girl with an amazing singing voice…then the Nancy connection was added in later.

Brady is John and Isabella’s son, Isabella was a Toscano, but it was discovered her ‘real’ father was Victor. Isabella (Izzy B, Belle’s namesake) died of cancer. Brady was named Brady to honour John’s then very recent past as Roman Brady….the ‘real’ Roman had come back and it was figured out that John had been Stefano’s pawn/plant in the Brady family…again, a rewrite done when they talked Wayne Northrop and Deidre Hall into coming back to the show.

The whole ‘oopsie, sleeping with my cousin/niece/whatever’ is painfully ignored on some soaps. Ick.

Man, I have watched this show for waaaaay too long.

Addition – Chelsea – she’s Bo and Billie’s daughter…Billie gave birth to Chelsea, then named Georgia, in the bayou back when Krista Allen was playing that role. She was apparently still born. Jump forward several years, and they re-wrote it that Georgia wasn’t still born, she was just hidden/stolen from Billie and wound up adopted by a couple who named her Chelsea. Chelsea showed up on the Salem scene, and eventually it was figured out that this was ‘Georgia’. Since Bo is actually Victor’s son from an affair Caroline and Victor had, she’s Victor and Kate’s granddaughter from different sides…which makes Phillip her uncle on both sides of the family, as well as making Max her uncle.

In 1967, the phrase "New Thing" had been applied to free jazz, so when Sly Stone dubbed his debut A Whole New Thing, his addition of Whole was vital. He kicked out "Underdog" with long horn lines, fast rhythms, and his own urgent delivery--certainly an opening salvo that spoke multiple languages. The horn charts hit the soul tip, and the energy jumped in the psychedelic rock volcano with gusto. "T...
