Why didn’t democrats have as much enthusiasm about kerry or gore?
Now i’m an independent however I vote democrat in almost every election. I was happy to vote for Obama but that doesn’t mean I think he was the best choice we could have made.
I remember back in 2000 when many people on the left were saying gore and bush were alike. Many of those people were famous including Michael Moore and Bill Maher. I however knew better. I knew Al Gore was a great guy and I was very excieted to vote for him.
I felt the same way about John Kerry. He was a war veteran and a really smart guy. I was excieted to vote for Kerry as well. Obama not so much. I was happy a dem won, but he wasn’t my first choice. I was a kuchinch supporter.

BTW Gore is making more money with his Global Warming BS than he could ever make as President. He won’t be running.
Putting all that aside, Obama is Black. That is the difference. Thank God he will only be a one term failure.
