When it comes to movies, I love the ones that actually teach you something in a very interesting way, especially if they have comedy and action. That is why I love Boiler Room (2000) and Fight Club (1999).
Boiler Room teaches you about wanting the quick buck while entertaining you with a view of what the life of a crooked stock broker might be like.
Fight Club teaches you about how wrong commercialism can be, while taking you for a ride as you witness the extreme change in the life of the main character, it also has a great surprise ending.
