Brewster’s Millions (1985)
10 point Movie question?
Alright, here’s a little question I made up a year or so ago and thought it would be fun to ask on here. I’ve asked it 4 or 5 times and no one has ever got the answer I was looking for. I don’t think it’s too hard, just think. If you haven’t seen every movie, reading quick plot descriptions on imdb or Wikipedia should help you out.
What is interesting about pairing these movies together? There is a reason they are grouped in one set. Can anyone give me the reason, or another set of movies that will give the same answer?
The Proposition (2005)
Timeline (2003)
Brewster’s Millions (1985)
Happy Feet (2006)
The Roots of Heaven (1958)
Apocalypse Now (1979)
The Mission (1986)
hmmm.. this is so tough!! i have a few theories of what it could be…
1. the main character fails at something but continues to complete their mission anyway
2. the main character is outcasted or sets themselves apart from everyone to prove a point and is not with the crowd. if that makes sense to you? lol
3. the mission that the main characters are on has to do with helping other people over themselves.
4. all of the main characters are trying to do something that they can’t do yet. like mumble trying to sing. and that is sort of what their mission is about.
5. they all take place on different continents? lol my last guess but i think it might work? ya because happy feet is in antarctica.. the proposition is in australia.. timeline is europe.. brewster’s millions is in north america.. the roots of heaven is in africa.. apocalypse now is in asia because of vietnam and the mission is in south america!! ding ding we have a winnner lol
