Big changes occured when Annie Sullivan came to Helen’s home to be HER teacher. Ms.Sullivan began trying to teach Helen sign language. Helen quickly learned the letters,but SHE did not realize that SHE, was spelling words or that words existed.IT wasnt until one day when Anne held Helen’s hand under the water and spelled water in HER hand hellen understood. In that one day,Helen learned 30 words. SHE quickly learned the alphabnet in both sign language and Braille.

Helen even learned to speak. SHE entered Cambridge school for young ladies in 1978 to prepare for Radcliffe College. While at Radcliffe,SHE began writing. IIn 1904 SHE graduated with cambridge honors.
