CQ (2001)

Just installed a Panasonic cq-c5403u and when you insert cd display blinks on and off whats the problem?

It’s installed into a 2001 nissan Altima.Just trying to figure out if the deck is defective. It plays sometimes and at other times it doesn’t eject the cd.

I would have to suggest that you have a defective deck. The blinking suggests that the switch that detects the presence of the CD is bad. If it works, but then doesn’t, there are probably internal defects that make it easier to replace than to fix.
