Creepshow (1982)
“Creepshow” question??
I was just watching “Creepshow” (1982) and was wondering…
Is the story with Ted Danson and Leslie Nielson accurate? I mean, is it really impossible to move your arms and dig yourself out if you are buried up to your neck in sand? Or, are you truly helpless and would simply drown when the tide came in?
Absolutely. The next time you are at the beach. Just lay down and get buried. Feel how heavy it is. There is an immense amount of weight in that much sand. You could not only get out, but you would have trouble breathing as well. Most likely you would suffocate before you would drown, unless the tide was awfully close. That is a great movie. Haven’t seen it in years. Goes to show don’t mess with the wrong person’s love.
