Out of the trilogy which sequel to Die Hard(1988) is the best.
By a mile i sayWith a Vengeance(1995) It is alot closer to Die Hard than 2 was as 2 was basically a rehash of the first one. With a Vengeance was different and it had John McTierman again at the helm. Loved the New York setting and Samuel L Jackson as the sidekick. I also thought Jeremy Irons as the villian was great second only to Alan Rickman.Great action movie.

I gotta agree with you. While I thought 2 was OK, 3 blew it out of the water. Sam Jackson was great, Jeremy Irons was superb and I LOVE the twist ending where one tiny mistake leads to his defeat. A worthy successor to the first in every way.
