Don’t Look Now (1973)
List of TOP surrealism of all time!?
Surreal. Nightmarish. Dream-alike. You name it, every movie which deals with “darkness and underworld” (although not necessarily) that depicted so brilliantly ‘unusual’ and have ability to ‘drag us down’ along with the story. In my list, here what i got :
1. Belle De Jour ( France-Italy / 1967 / dir : Luis Bunuel)
2. 8 1/2 (Italy / 1963 / dir: Federico Fellini)
3. Eraserhead (US/ 1977 / dir:David Lynch)
4. Abre Los Ojos (eng : Open Your Eyes) (Spain / 1997 / dir : Alejandro Amenabar)
5. Don’t Look Now (UK / 1973 / dir : Nicolas Roeg)
I’m sure there is plenty of others but, in my thought, those five are deserved to be put on the TOP list.
Now i was asking for your list, in your personal opinion. I need those for my consideration (I have to work on my presentation and script)

Trainspotting
8 1/2 (italian)
Full Metal Jacket (the first part of the film)
A clockwork orange
Pans labyrinth (Spanish)
Irreversible (french)
Cannibal holocaust (italian, i think)
The boy in the striped pajamas
Salo (can’t remember off the top of my head what nationality this is)
Not sure if i really followed this guys rules i just named some films that i found to be really dark, could name more but CBF’d.
