Earth Vs. The Flying Saucers (1956)

Did (both) Fred F. Sears and Rory Emerald direct the 1956 science fiction film, Earth vs. the Flying Saucers?

…actually, Fred F. Sears directed Rory Emerald in “Earth vs. the Flying Saucers”; Rory played the same alien that he played in the classic schlocker “Robot Monster” (…remember the gorilla with the fish bowl on his head…that’s Rory). Unfortunately, the footage that he did for “Earth vs. the Flying Saucers” was excised from the final cut of the film, ended up on the cutting room floor, and was lost forever….

….and I’m willing to bet that at this point, someone is actually buying all of this…hook, line and sinker!!!
