love scene in Enemy at the Gates (2001)?
just curious as to how real that scene between Rachel Weisz and Jude Law was.
Many of the relationships regarding the real Zeitzev (sp?) and Jude Law in the movie are more or less fabricated for the movie if that is what you are referring to. For example, the political officer who was his friend in the movie who gets shot to flush out Konig at the end wasn’t a real associate of the real sniper, he was some guy who was asked to tag along with him at the last minute so he could chronicle the hunt and ended up getting himself shot.
If you’re just asking as to how plausible it was in general I personally just had to laugh at how nonsensical it was.

Enemy At The Gates (2001 Film)
$3.90 For many an armchair history buff, the Allied invasion of Europe on D day in 1944 is seen as the decisive European battle of World War II. In reality, the war's turning point may well have been the German army's defeat at Stalingrad in the bitterly cold early months of 1943 after one of history's bloodiest sieges. Director Sergio Leone had planned an epic film version of those events, but he died ... |
