Who am I?
My rookie year was in 1981, in that year Ron Bouchard and I share a stat with Matt Kenseth and Dale Earnhardt Jr.
I scored Pontiacs first win since 1963 and my first win ever.
I drove for Levi Garrett before Hendrick stole my sponsor.
In 1987 I drove for a King but not Richard Petty
In 1990 I was really “motoring” and was considered a top driver.
In 1992 I nearly won the Daytona 500 but a slow stop cost me;
which was surprising since my crew was considered fast at Indy.
By 1998 after years of finishing top 10 in points I couldn’t get a competitive ride So I became what ESPN called a “super-sub”
Today I still race as much as I can…although I can’t afford CUP I still race on a wing and a prayer…..who am I?

About a year ago I visited his website and was impressed with him. I always like to see him at least finish a race but that usually isn’t too often.
