How can i make this paragraph sound more interesting?
Gary Mark Gilmore was an American criminal who gained international notoriety as the first person executed in the United States after the death penalty was reinstated in 1976. Gilmore was born in Texas on December.4th. 1940, he had dropped out of school at age 15 and decided to make a living out of robbing houses and stores. Gilmore was convicted of killing Ben Bushnell, a motel manager, in Provo Utah on July 20, 1976. At the time Utah had two methods of execution, firing squad or death by hanging, so Gilmore was allowed to choose between the two. His reply was, “I’d prefer to be shot.” Gilmore had been finally shot by a firing squad on January 17, 1977, at 8:07 AM.
What should i add or say to make this more interesting? Please give me your opinion and thoughts. Thanx

The story is fine just needs some tweeking. The second paragraph is still a little long. It is hard to make fact interesting. You have done your best. Good luck!
