Figures In A Landscape (1970)
Suggest a scanner? I’m looking to scan all my parents pictures and then make a digital book.?
Here’s the deal. I’m trying to get a jump ahead on a birthday gift for my mother and I figured I’d start here and work out. My parents have photo albums all the way back to early 1970’s and I was wanting to create a nice photo book from a website like www.blurb.com or www.mpix.com
My question is that I’d like to get a scanner that would do an adequate job of scanning these pictures to fit into an 8×10 landscape book. I haven’t seen the books in years, but i’m pretty sure most of the pictures are 4×6 cuts. Inevitably, I don’t want to spend a lot. I’m looking for value. Anybody have any suggestions?
Get the HP G 4010. It is a legal size scanner that works very very fast and you can scan 4 to 6 pics at a time. It also scans slides, negatives etc…
It is inexpensive and well worth the purchase. I use it professionally for my magazine scans.

here is their newer model and much more inexpensive and does the job just as well and even scans books.
