Flash Gordon (1980)

Do y’all think they will ever make a new flash Gordon movie please?

I never saw the one from 1980. I wasn’t born let and I was just curious. I saw the music video on youtube.com and it was sang by Queen. It was a good video. I want them to make every comic book heroes movies that hasn’t been made yet. Like The Silver Surfer.

The Silver Surfer has already been made into a movie — “Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer” (2007).

I doubt you’ll see a new Flash Gordon movie any time soon. I think Flash Gordon has already had his day, and most of America’s youth nowadays don’t know who he is. However, if there are any major comic book conventions where you live, Sam J. Jones (the guy who played Flash) likes to show up at them and charge for autographs and photos.

Also, a new DVD edition of Flash Gordon has recently been released with two new featurettes — “Flash Gordon (Saviour of the Universe Edition).”

However, I hear that the European Silver Anniversary Edition DVD is the best catch. Unfortunately, I’m stuck with a copy I bought long ago, with a Portuguese disc menu!
