Galaxina (1980)
a movie from 1980 that had a lesbian scene with paint?
I remember a few years back seeing a scene where a dark woman and a white woman have sex and there were many colors of paint splashed around on them and the room.
I think it was a preview to the movie Galaxina from 1980, which makes me believe that the movie I’m looking for came out in 1980.
I’ve been trying to find out what this movie is forever, but I can’t seem to find my copy of Galaxina (it was on VHS)
do any of you know what movie I’m talking about? I don’t think it was a porno…
** what I mean when I said it was a preview to the movie Galaxina, was that it was in the previews before the feature film Galaxina
I thought it might be “Liquid Sky” (1982), but I checked the production companies and VHS distributors for that movie and “Galaxina,” and they don’t match. (It’s unlikely that you’d get a VHS tape with a movie trailer from a different company, though I suppose it’s not out of the question.) Same situation with “Paroxismus” (1969), another movie with an interracial lesbian sex scene.
In addition to that, I don’t think the interracial lesbian scene in Liquid Sky involved any paint, and the sex scene that did involve paint didn’t involve lesbians, and I don’t think they were splashing the paint – more like smearing it. Though it’s been a while since I saw it…
Anyway, Galaxina came out on VHS in two different releases – the earlier one was on MCA Home Video, and the later one (in 2000) was on Rhino. The significant year would have been that of the video release, not the theatrical release, and any previews would have been for other films they were releasing on video that same year, irrespective of when they were released to theaters (if they were ever released to theaters at all). Sorry if that sounds a bit confusing!
