Gangs Of New York (2002)
Q on Hollywood – I need to now if these Movies are classed as ORIGINAL Hollywood Films?
Are “Amrican Beauty” (2000); “I Am Legend” (2007); “The Matrix” (1999); “Liar Liar” (1997); “Stranger Than Fiction” (2006); “Anger Management” (2003); “Gangs of New York” (2002) and “”Titanic” (1997) all ORIGINAL Films, or are some of them adaptations? Also, were they ALL released by Hollywood, ie: were any of them Independant Productions? Or were they all made either in; for or in conjunction with a major Hollywood Studio and were they all sterotypically released and marketed by Hollywood?
I think American Beauty may not have been, but just in case.
Thanks,
Blue Spirit.

Gangs of New York (Two-Disc Collector's Edition)
$5.27 Gangs of New York may achieve greatness with the passage of time. Mixed reviews were inevitable for a production this grand (and this troubled behind the scenes), but it's as distinguished as any of director Martin Scorsese's more celebrated New York stories. From its astonishing 1846 prologue to the city's infernal draft riots of 1863, the film aspires to erase the decorum of textbooks and chroni... |

State Property
$9.20 "As pop as we may seem," argues Damon Dash, "Roc-A-Fella's just a real famous underground label." This might sound silly coming from the man behind platinum-plus Jay-Z and his pretty-boy protégé, Memphis Bleek, but the State Property soundtrack, which features Beanie Sigel and his Philly family, actually supports this argument. Aside from some off-key harmonizing on "Sun Don't Shine," State Prop... |

Gangs of New York
$19.68 Martin Scorsese's sprawling meditation on the rise of street gangs in 19th-century New York (the roots of the modern mafia) also became another soundtrack buff's "What If?" after the director scrapped the original orchestral underscore of modern collaborator (Cape Fear, The Age of Innocence, Bringing Out the Dead)/veteran scoring legend Elmer Bernstein and replaced it with this typically rich, Rob... |
