Girl 6 (1996)
Do you ever get nostalgic?
I’m in my second year of colllege. School is going good for me. I mean I’m getting good grades and I’ve been making new friends.
The thing is though, when I watch a movie from lets say 1996-1998 (when I was 6-8 years old) I feel sad. Like I wish I could go back to that time of my life.
It’s not that I hate my life now, it’s just I felt better about myself about then.
I guess back then I didn’t have to worry about as much for one thing. Now it’s like I have to start thinking about my future and building up enough confidence to ask a girl out.
I notice I feel said mainly if it’s a movie that I really liked back when I was younger. Like From Dusk Till Dawn was always a favorite of mine as violent as it was. But I saw part of that movie tonight and it made me feel kind of sad.
sad mainly*
Everyone gets nostalgic from time to time. It doesn’t mean that you’re unhappy with your situation, just means that you’re recalling a happy time in your life. Don’t worry about it. As for asking the girl out, convince yourself that you don’t need a girlfriend. That way, you’ll be seem more confident. Women sense desperation like a dog senses fear..

Best of the Stylistics Vol. 2 and All-Time Classics cover different bases, while Greatest Love Hits is a theme com... |

Girl 6 [VHS]
$29.98 Perhaps only Spike Lee could make a dignified yet extremely funny comedy-drama about phone sex. Theresa Randle (Bad Boys) is the title character, a hard-working actress who becomes addicted to this peculiar form of safe sex (the movie is verbal, not physical, in that department) at a high-class New York agency. Throughout the film, Girl 6 (she's unnamed beyond this) sports a dazzling array of new ... |
