Does anyone know the name of the US Navy ship used in the 1978 movie “Gray Lady Down”?
The movie starred Charleton Heston and was the first “big” movie for Christopher Reeve. Any help appreciated, Thanks !!
Thanks Navigator but I am looking for the name of the ship, not the submarine. Thanks for your time though, it’s appreciated.
thanks Navigator for your time !!
According to Wikipedia, the submarine in Gray Lady Down was re-used footage from Ice Station Zebra, and the real-life submarine in **that** movie was the USS Ronquil (SS-396).
EDIT: Sorry man. I couldn’t find any info on the ship (IMDB had **diddly**), just the sub. Hope someone else finds it for you, though!
