Gray’s Anatomy (1996)

Is it just me or is “Grey’s Anatomy” an early days “ER” ripoff?

My gf got me to watch her season 2 dvd set and I said to myself “This is ER circa 1996″ It is kinda scary except for the medicine isnt nearly as real in this show to me its more soap opera than drama. But the characters to me seem like a re-casting of “ER” Sheperd(Dempsey) is Ross(Clooney), Burke(Isiah Washington) is Benton(Eriq LaSalle), Yang(Oh) is Chen(Ming-na), George(Knight) is Carter(Wyle), Bailey(Chandra Wilson)is Weaver(Innes), Izzie(Heigl) is DelAmico(Maria Bello), Meredith(Pompeo) is the M.D. version of Hathaway(J.Margulies), Addison(Walsh) is Corday(Alex Kingston), and Karev(Chambers) is Ray(Shane West). GREY’S ANATOMY IS A TOTAL “ER” RIPOFF!!! DOES ANYONE AGREE WITH ME??

FINALLY! some1 else sees it 2. i thought i was the only 1 n the world of anatomy watchers 2 see this. i dont know how other ppl can not. er was MUCH better than this so-called drama [?]. thank u 4 leting me know there is at least 1 person who agrees with me.
