Harlem Nights by Eddie Murphy in 1989 and the actual Harlem Renaissance was in the 20s and 30s before the World War to End All Wars – any genuine comparison?
someone emailed me about all the people (blacks and whites) pushed northward into the cities by the Great Flood of 1927 …. hmmm have to look in to that one further

Harlem was known for it’s music and clubs. As for clubs being owned by blacks is a different story, but white people did go to Harlem for speakeasies and music.
