The fall of house of usher Please help!?
In 1960, screenwriter Richard Matheson created an embellishment of the short story that “drips with brooding evil and sinister suspense.”
If you can just consider two versions of the tale. Which to believe is the better rendition? Has the film created more interest and suspense or destroyed a classic original? Would you differently if you had view the story first, thus eliminating the element of dramatic irony as you watch the 1960 version?
No movie follows a book exactly and if you ask me, are never as good as the book. Whattaya gonna do?
