Tim Tuttle: Les Richter left an indelible mark on NASCAR, NFL
Les Richter excelled at every endeavor in his multi-faceted Hall of Fame life and he did it with a charming-yet-modest personality that made him a popular figure in football and motor racing. Richter died Saturday of a brain aneurysm in his adopted hometown of Riverside, Calif., at 79.
