International Velvet (1978)

what’s the name of the horse who played Arizona Pie in International Velvet?

International Pie starring Tatum O’Neal and Anthony Hopkins was released in 1978. A Famous 3 day eventer played the horse, Arizona Pie. I cannot find his name, and I want to research his career.
Can anyone help?

Oh one of my all time favourite movies!

I actually called my mare Pie as her pet name between just her and me. As I got her as a early teen and it stuck until she died 19 years later. It was always nice to have that special name that only I called her (and hubby in later years). She looked nothing like any of the staring horses in either of the movies. LOL

It is funny because National Velvet is widely available in Aus, International Velvet is like finding hens teeth! I actually worked in the video store many years ago and even with my contacts there I could not get a copy of International Velvet to buy. In the end my boyfriend at the time pirated a copy from a rival store. But many years later I did finally get a proper copy

I also had to search for a long time to find the book and now have both books.
