Capitalization of titles?
In below paragraph, should the job titles be capitalized, or not?
“Walgreens current Chairman, David W. Bernauer, is one of those long-time employees who has definitely come up through the ranks. He began his career with Walgreens as a pharmacy intern. He held various positions in store operations before becoming a Vice President in 1990. Bernauer was promoted to Vice President of purchasing and merchandising in 1992 and Vice President and CIO in 1995. He was named a Senior Vice President in 1996 and President and COO in 1999. After holding several senior management positions over the next decade, Bernauer was named Chairman CEO and in January 2003. In July 2006, Jeffrey A. Rein became CEO and Bernauer continued as Chairman.”
Titles preceding names, but not title that follow names. For example,
She worked as the assistant to Mayor Hanolovi.
I was able to interview Miriam Moss, mayor of Littonville.
