Romantic Comedies!Most of those are considered as Chick-flicks! I couldn’t care less though! If the story is good,the actors convincing and I find myself laughing a bundle,then I’m sold over.There are tons of so-called Romantic Comedies out there.Some great,others barely worth watching.My favorite is”Jerry Maguire”(1996)which I found thoroughly entertaining with such adorable,innocent and noteworthy lines like”you had me at hello”and”you complete me”to name just a couple.It made me laugh out loud with the”show me the money”and”help me help you”scenarios among others.Besides,for those unaware,that was the movie that made Renee Zellweger a movie star!Tom Cruise was already a star of course but if”Risky Business”or”Top Gun”did not seal his stardom,then”Gerry Maguire”would surely have done it for him!Name your choice for the best Romantic Comedy duo in cinema so far with the movie title and why you made that choice.
Personally, I would say that Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks make a fantastic duo – Sleepless in Seattle and You’ve Got Mail are fantastic films!!!
And,of course. . . . Julia Roberts and Richard Gere – Pretty Woman! =D
