John And Mary (1969)
Are Barack Obama’s Friends Crazy?
1.Ted Kennedy:July 18, 1969 a drunk Ted Kennedy would drive off a bridge and leave a young girl (Mary Jo Kopechne) to die in the back seat of his car. He did not report the accident for 9 hours. Kennedy was guilty of manslaughter as anyone would be if they killed a passenger while driving drunk (He had been drinking rum and coke and Heineken beer from 4:30-11:15). Yet never went to jail. Hell, there was never a trial. What the hell, make him a senator. He is a RICH, WHITE LIBERAL and a KENNEDY. What if Mary Jo were your daughter?
2.William Ayers:Ayers was a terrorist.
3.Jeremiah Wright:A Racist
4.Barack Hussein Obama’s wife:She says it’s the first time in her adult lifetime that she’s been proud of her country!
5.John Kerry:Kerry called the troops stupid.
Why I will not vote for Hillary Clinton TOO!!!
Jeremiah Wright is a household word, he is a real angry man, and I never did know why he was so angry, but he reminded me of some of those people I met at that black panther party.
And then there is that Louis Farrakhan fellow, the one that hates Jews, for no apparent reason.
And then William Ayer, they say he found our nations capital.
And Tony, I cannot even tell you all the bad things he did.
But I know he was his friend, they were all his friends, and I don’t know anyone who likes them.
Why he got friends like that?
A man is as only as good as his friends, and it looks like he did not keep very good friends, and I do not know what to think about that.
I am not a very smart man, but I do know what hope is, and even I could learn what my preacher said, if I heard him say it for 20 years…
I don’t know why he said he don’t know what his preacher said, but somehow when he says that, I just don’t believe him.

Change of Habit
$6.51 Elvis tried something different in his final narrative movie… but the results are oddly similar to his usual '60s formula. Here the King plays a doctor working in an inner-city free clinic, playing host to three Catholic nurses (who are really nuns incognito). Elvis gets hung up on one of the nuns, played by Mary Tyler Moore; she seems a lot closer to The Dick Van Dyke Show than the Vatican. ... |

Bayou Country
$6.64 Bayou Country is the CCR record that slips under the radar. The group's 1969 sophomore release birthed two classic-rock staples--"Born on the Bayou" and "Proud Mary." Then there's the characteristically savvy cover ("Good Golly Miss Molly"), the stretch-out jams ("Graveyard Train" and "Keep on Chooglin"), and a couple of seldom-remarked-upon album tracks ("Bootleg" and "Penthouse Pauper"). And tha... |
