Let It Ride (1989)

Need expert advice on getting a new car stereo?

I have a 1989 Volvo 740GL Sedan. It needs a new stereo, It currently still has the factory tape deck and only one speaker (driver side front door) works.
I don’t want the whole “Pimp My Ride” stereo system. Just a nice simple system that is iPod compatable (I buy about one cd every two years). I don’t need one that is extremely complicated. I would like one that kinda equalizes the songs for me as they’re played so I’m not constanly fidgeting with it while I’m driving.
If I haven’t given you all the info you need, please let me know and I’ll update my question.
