If I add Lucas Transmission fix while my Transmission fluid is already overfull by 6-8oz, will it hurt?
My 1986 Ranger, 2.9L has been shifting hard, I changed the fluid but didn’t use this, and the dipstick is already showing overfull by 6-8 oz. Will adding a 24 oz. bottle of Lucas Transmission fix blow a seal or do anything or create too much pressure in the transmission? I’m just a little unsure what to do.
drain some fluid out before you add it or siphon some out and then add it.
