Anyone know the value of The Concert Music Box of Tchaikovsky Masterpieces by the House of Faberge 1989 1990 the Franklin Mint? I can’t find the item anyplace on the net, we paid $2000.00 in 1990 and wondering if 18 years has it become worth more or less

This isn’t an original by Fabergé, but a copy by Franklin Mint who sell various collectables direct to the public, often with the claim that they will increase phenomenally in value. This is their website http://www.franklinmint.com/

I have my doubts as to whether the claims of large increases in value can be substantiated. This really is the wrong site to ask this question on – you should look for one on collectables. Another suggestion is to look on e-bay and see if anyone is selling the same item and that should give you some idea of value. Otherwise, take it to a dealer in collectables.
