Nosferatu The Vampyre (1979)

Which of these films should I watch first? Movie buff opinions appreciated!?

The choices are:

a) Freaks (1932)
b) Nosferatu the Vampyre (1979)
c) Sleuth ( 1972)
d) Rescue Dawn (2007)
e) The Road (2009)
f) Valhalla Rising (2009)

If you could suggest one or maybe a few of these movies and why, I’d greatly appreciate. I have all of them and don’t know in what order to watch them! Thanks.
I have already watched the 1922 Murnau Original.

Watch them all and start with freaks. The movie was made as a social commentary. Everyone should be equal and being different doesnt make you any less human, yet it was banned for a long time in many countries. Watching it now shows you just how ignorant we were back then. It’s probably the most intriguing of all the movies you listed.

I think the best order to watch them in is from oldest to newest. From the list of movies you have there, it is probably the order I would want to watch them in too regardless of when they were made.

Watching them in order from oldest to newest will also show you how movies have changed. They are all decent movies, but i think the newest is the weakest. In fact, if you have to skip one, skip Valhalla rising. It’s not in the same league of the others, then again, it all depends on what you like.

Werner Herzog's remake of F.W. Murnau's original vampire classic is at once a generous tribute to the great German director and a distinctly unique vision by one of cinema's most idiosyncratic filmmakers. Though Murnau's Nosferatu was actually an unauthorized adaptation of Bram Stoker's Dracula, Herzog based his film largely on Murnau's conceptions--at times directly quoting Murnau's images--but m...
