Hi I just perchased a honde prelude 1989 and there is white smoke from egzos. not heating still got power?

Hi I just perchased a honde prelude 1989 and there is white smoke from egzos not heating still got power. I was hoping a oil change and spark plug remewel will do the trick. The car goes ok no engine nose and just when engine is cold it smoke. but later goes away but the come back agian. HELP SOME ONE OUT THE IN THE GALAXY.

they’re right but just incomplete. a big puff of bluish white exhaust smoke when first started cold means oil is leaking thru the valve seals in the combustion chamber. replace oil seals (guides may also be bad but try seals first). also, pressure test cooling system cold. coolant may be leaking into chambers as well via blown intake gasket or head gasket or cracked block. if this all checks out, see if its really cold outside. exhaust is like a glass of ice water. it sweats. the water collects in the muffler and drains thru a little hole in the back of the muffler at the bottom. some exhaust smoke may just be steam which is normal. as long as it goes away when the engine is warmed up and stays away til cold again.
