Need help identifying 80’s song?

It goes…I remember holding her tight it feels so right…and she’s gone by. It has voices of like some boy band like flock of seagulls or depeche mode. I heard it a couple years ago on this weekly tv series “running man” before it got axed by the writers guild strike. I think he popped back in time to 1987, something about his wife, think she was now dead or something. It’s killing me. Been killing me for years now.
