What were US cannabis possession laws like in 1983?
I just watched a movie called “The Big Chill” in which homely Hugh Grant / Bridget Jones types all sit around around roll and smoke joints as normally as drinking coffee…so matter-of-factly, that I wondered was this legal back then?
These weren’t hippy types but middle class, going to work the next types….
cannabis wase’nt in the fore front of America in the late 70’s-early 80’s it did not get much attention till id say late 80’s say 1987 and so on from what i can remember ,i remember Nancy Reagan’s drug education programs on tv and news from growing up “cocaine was pretty popular on the news as i recall “
