9. Passion of Arms-Erin Ambler-1959-good condition

And no.. while they’re not antiques, that doesn’t preclude them from having value. The determining factors being: demand, rarity, edition status, publisher, author. When those criteria are met then one looks to the condition of the book. Appraising items can be time consuming but the information is out there if you’re determined to find it. Suggestion: You can search each title on Ebay or Amazon used books (you may not find your title and will have to check periodically) as well on rare book sites online. I just did a search which took all of two seconds for the Eric Ambler… and 1959 could well be a first edition. http://www.booksandcollectibles.com.au/bsearch.php3?bsearch_submit=Search&auth=Eric%2C+AMBLER&title=Passage+Of+Arms
I would put in the effort and track eack each title down.. you never know!
Hope this helped!
