What’s a “rip off for” this service?
I need brakes for my car and this is what I need:
Back: Drums, shoes, and cylinder
Front: just pads
with labor between 75 and 90 bucks what is NON-RIP OFF price to pay?
Here is the stats on my car:
1996 Oldsmobile Delta 88 with a little over 131,000 miles
it is doubtful you need new drums. these are very expensive. ask them why they determined you need new drums. is it because they are eccentric (not perfectly round) or grooved? fyi you can bring drums and rotors to autozone and they will resurface them and turn them for you for dirt cheap. voila. look up what the parts cost online. then see how amazed you are when can get them for less than what u can get them for and mark them up 300% above what you can get them for. GET A WRITTEN ESTIMATE! if they say “we’ll let ya know after we get it all fixed, dont worry well get ya a good deal” then RUN. by law you are entitled to a written estimate and they must not fluctuate 10% from that estimate, and by law they cannot fix or install anything else without your permission.

Down in the Delta [VHS]

But the movie soon heads south, as the title suggests, when Mom and kids are sent to live with an uncle for the summer. Their lives change, of course, but that's the only pre... |
