The Entertainer (1960)
1960’s American History topics?
What is a good topic for a 1960’s american history project. Its for a 5-10min powerpoint and a paper.
It can not be a president or an entertainer. I would have a few good ideas, but the ones i want to do are already taken.
Martin Luther King and Robert Kennedy were both assassinated in 1968, and neither was a president at the time
1965 – Voting Rights Act signed into law
The drug culture got its start. This affected entertainers, but many many others.
Contraceptives were legalized in the 1960s (forgot the name of the Supreme Court decision). This had a huge impact on the lives and freedom of women in this country. And it helped inspire the sexual revolution of the 1970s
