How do I replace JUST THE GLASS of the driver’s side mirror on a 2001 Dodge Neon? How do I access the “clips”?
The guy at the dealership said there are some clips holding the glass insert in that I need to release but the area around the glass is only like 1/4 inch wide and I can’t see squat in there. How do I get in there? He said if I just start prying it out I’ll break the whole mirror housing but I really don’t want to pay them to do it if it’s something simple.
if you tilt the mirror all the way to one direction you can get a scribe or a pic in there to pop the clips off one at a time untill you get two or three off then it will come off pretty easily.
