The Good Guys And The Bad Guys (1969)

1967-1969 camaro ss Question!!!?

ok, im a 17 year old guy that owns a 2000 Chevrolet silverado. i do major work to my truck as in replaced 2 pistons and changed the brakes, and as a supercharger successfully, I even installed a transmission with the help of some of my friends, i have installed speakers and redone the wiring. But to the point. i am looking for a awesome old car to redo myself for a couple summer projects, i am wondering how much a 67-69 camaro ss body will cost me, im lookin for one without an engine, just a body in pretty decent shape, as in not beat to hell and not rusted clear through the metal, but fixable! I am lookin at one for 1,000$ 68 ss that has no engine, bad transmission, and is slightly rusted, not much paint left and a few dents, it will roll on the rims lol… is this a good price? ps i am going to paint it myself!… good price?
slightly rusted= there’s metal underneath, can be picked off with fingernail, most of it at least!

The key question with respect to the car you are considering is “how complete is the car?” If it is compolete and all the trim pieces and bright work are there and in good condition it makes the whole deal look a lot more interesting. If you are going to have to locate a great many of the trim pieces and have a lot of the bright work rechromed then expect to pay considerably more for a finished product. “Year One” is a great after market source for a lot of the pieces you will probably want to replace. Check the floor pans and the trunk pan. As long as you don’t have a great deal of through and through rust on the body panels and floor pans then that will eliminate a lot of extra work. The 68, 67 amd 69 Camaros are very desirable cars and well worth the time and effort to make them look new again.

Here's how director Sam Peckinpah described his motivation behind The Wild Bunch at the time of the film's 1969 release: "I was trying to tell a simple story about bad men in changing times. The Wild Bunch is simply what happens when killers go to Mexico. The strange thing is you feel a great sense of loss when these killers reach the end of the line." All of these statements are true, but they do...

$10.47

This 1969 film has never lost its popularity or its unusual appeal as a star-driven Western that tinkers with the genre's conventions and comes up with something both terrifically entertaining and--typical of its period--a tad paranoid. Paul Newman plays the legendary outlaw Butch Cassidy as an eternal optimist and self-styled visionary, conjuring dreams of banks just ripe for the picking all over...

A wonderful/rueful running gag in El Dorado involves the Edgar Allan Poe line "Ride, boldly ride" being mangled by toupee-wearer Wayne into "Ride, baldy, ride." Two years later, in True Grit, Wayne put the joke in italics by donning an eyepatch and several inches of girth to play cantankerous territorial marshal Rooster Cogburn. Critics belatedly noticed that he could be a marvelously entertaining...
