The Horror Of Frankenstein (1970)

The Young Frankenstein Tickets – Cloris Leachman to Play Frau Blucher?

The cast for the new musical The Young Frankenstein is being brought together, and the newest news is that Cloris Leachman may be playing the part of the terrifying Frau Blucher. Cloris Leachman recently appeared on Dancing with the Stars, where she made it through nearly to the end of October, before she was voted off. Cloris Leachman did an excellent job of showing the world that even a woman who is past the age of retirement can still cut the rug with the best of them. The role of Frau Blucher is one that Cloris Leachman already starred in when the story first came out as a film in 1974. The actress appeared in the movie alongside Gene Wilder, who played the younger Dr Frankenstein, or Frankensteen as he prefers to be called. In her original performance in the part she was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for Best Motion Picture Actress – Musical/Comedy. The film won four Golden Scroll Awards, one Golden Screen Award, and Gene Wilder and Mel Brooks were nominated for an Oscar Award for Best Writing, Screenplay Adapted from Other Material.

The role of Frau Blucher is a fascinating, entertaining and frightening one; so it is everything you could want from a musical stage version of a 1970s film parody of a horror film based on a story written a long time ago. She is a terrifying figure, horses whiny in terror whenever she approaches, and she imbues those around her with feelings that they can barely describe. And possibly more terrifying still, she may also have been the love interest of the original Dr. Frankenstein, the crazy grandfather of the young Frankensteen in the musical.

The musical is currently playing at the Hilton Theater in New York City, so if you want to know what all the fuss is about, then be sure to come to http://www.stubhub.com and get your Young Frankenstein Tickets today. Young Frankenstein is the story of the grandson of Frankenstein who first woke the monster and brought shame and disgrace on his family. The grandson is now a successful brain surgeon in New York, and wants nothing to do with the family’s dodgy history. But he may not have a choice, as he has inherited his grandfather’s estate including the ominous castle and the laboratory that comes with it.

This story could not be more amusing, and more ironic as one of the great classics of our time is revealed to have many comedic possibilities to it…however dark those possibilities are. Young Frankenstein tickets are a great way to get away to a night of laughter, entertainment and adult humor. This is definitely a musical worth seeing, so be sure to see it while it is still in New York. Young Frankenstein is an excellent show to give you the excitement that you want for a great night out.
