The Love Letter (1999)
Can I be deported after being married 4 years to a US Citizen?
I met my wife in 1999, and we moved together in 2000. We got married in 2005. In 2007 she joined the US Air force on a 4 year contract, and we see each other only twice a month since. US-Immigration wrote me a letter stating our marriage is not genuine, and wants me to prove we do live together, which we don’t at the moment. She loves me, I love her. Is there anything we can do, beside her forcing a discharge from the military?
Thanks everybody. I do have a conditional green card. Immigration thinks our marriage is not real, I guess, because my wife joint the army after being with me for “only” 7 years. I know immigration would honor our marriage if she would be discharged from the army, but we try to find another way.
Anyone can be deported if there is reason to believe the marriage is fraud. Even green card or PR’s are not guaranteed to remain in the country if there are reasons to believe otherwise.
Best I can offer you. Have your wife do the follow up.

Chris Gaines Greatist Hits
$13.99 In... The Life of Chris Gaines is a way for Garth Brooks to indulge his rock-star fantasies without directly putting his country credibility on the line. This fictional greatest-hits album is supposedly a prequel to a movie (The Lamb) in which Brooks will assume the role of a mysterious Australian-born pop singer. The first single, "Lost in You," sounds like Kenny Loggins auditioning for a role in... |

On How Life Is
$4.40 Gray starts from a solid foundation of retro funk and soul and builds on it by adding hip-hop signifiers and modern studio techniques. The result is one of the better debuts of the year, thanks to Gray's blunt proclamations ("I've committed murder... and I don't feel bad about it") and inimitable vocal phrasing. On How Life Is offers the sass of a '20s blueswoman plus the don't-mess-with-me streng... |

Love Letter [VHS]
$0.04 Its ads portrayed it as a wacky farce, while critics largely ignored it, presuming it to be a vanity project from Kate Capshaw (better known as Mrs. Steven Spielberg). But The Love Letter is neither; on the contrary, it's a low-key but surprisingly rich and touching film about love, illusions, and regret. Helen (Capshaw), a bookseller in a small seashore town, discovers an unsigned love letter tha... |
