Founded in 1950, the Stasi was one of the most repressive police organizations in the world. It infiltrated almost every aspect of life in East Germany, using torture, intimidation and a vast network of informants to crush dissent.
Millions of Germans worked for the Stasi and provided reports on friends, family, colleagues or lovers. The files, which would stretch for 112 km (70 miles) if laid out flat, were opened up to the public in 1992, exposing a web of betrayals.
It’s called a witch hunt. They happen over and over throughout history. What happens is that a group is given the power to dispose of others for personal gain by making an accusation that has been inflated in importance. “Anti-racism” is such a witch hunt: You can use the racism accusation to dispose of political enemies, destroy people’s careers, and take down corporations.
Every time, the witch hunt ends when it gets so severe that the people who benefit from it start to fall prey to it themselves. That’s just barely starting to happen with the race card, as libs are getting a taste of their own weapon. Afterwards, society is always really embarrassed by the whole affair. Then, a few years later, they start it again over something else.
