ps. I know a few people seeing this question regard the film as a Disney thing and not real hockey, but for people my age (I was 15 or so when it came out) it’s a link to our past, just like Slap Shot for slightly older people.

Not sure I’d drop a grand on that sweater but, to your point, I’d probably drop that scratch on a Dunlop or Braden.
And, thank you for the “slightly” older. Your diplomatic touch there is greatly appreciated. hehe
I was 25 when that movie came out and actually helped Emilio Estevez with some skating instruction in preparation for his role. Then again, given his ‘on-ice’ performance, maybe I should keep that tidbit to myself.
