The 70’s Explain it!?

I just finished watching Stars War and really digged it.
I’m not sure why George Luken promoted incest in the film.
Luke Skywalkers seems to have the hots for princess Laytaa
It was gross!!! That is his sister!!. What was he thinking?
I would never makeout with my sister! Thats Gross!
Does anyone know why Lukus promoted incest in the film? Was incest a big thing in the 70’s? I heard about President, Jimmy Cartel and his son Billy making moonshine and trying to pickup on their cousins.The 1970’s seem like the eras of the sexual revolution. The 70’s were off!! Even the movies!! I think that the Stars War Mini series was great to watch back in the 70’s instead of The Roots Family. I wasn’t born then but I bet Stars War blew The Roots Family out of the water when they were on TV in the 70’s.
I think Stars War was way gooder than The Roots Family.
Does any old people who lived in the 1970’s know what movie won the nelson ratings that year, The Roots Family or Stars war?

First, he did NOT promote incest in ‘Star Wars’. When the first movie came out, even Lucas didn’t know he would eventually make Luke & Leia related. And even if he had, Luke NOR Leia knew they were related. PLUS, a peck on the lips is NOT incestuous.
2nd, Star Wars was NOT a mini-series! It was a theatrical movie shown only at theatres, at the time. The 2nd Star Wars movies didn’t come out until the 80s. ‘Roots’ WAS a mini-series. The most successful mini-series ever, at that time. But, like all mini-series’, was made and shown ONLY on television. So you’re comparing apples & oranges here. The last night of ‘Roots’ was the most watched television program EVER!
3rd, Jimmy Carter had a BROTHER named Billy, not a son. And it’s been considered normal throughout the ages for cousins to date…lol
